If you agree, you've come to the right place.Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Expert Tester our NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Team located in Albany, NY.Key Responsibilities:The consultant will be performing testing tasks including:Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for manual as well as automated testing to address business use casesEstimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activitiesValidate the data mapping of the fields between the legacy and the PORTS & Grants systemsExperience Required:84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.Bachelor level or higher degree in computer science computer engineering, math or related engineering fields.84 months of experience in creating test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for manual testing84 months of experience in validating the data mapping of the fields between the legacy and newly developed systems84 months of experience in documenting, reporting, tracking, assigning, and escalating defects appropriately; performing thorough regression testing when defects are resolved84 months of experience in providing guidelines, reviews and support to developers and business analysts creating unit tests and integrating them into the build cycles.84 months of experience in ensuring that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each testing phase and final acceptance.84 months experience using industry recognized testing tools such as soapUI, Selenium Suite (Selenium IDE, Selenium Server, Selenium Remote Control, Selenium Grid, Selenium Java Client Driver); Agile; Silk Test; HPE Unified Functional Testing (UFT), HP LoadRunner, HP Performance Center84 months creating and performing automated testingThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
