Job Description:
A Prestigious hospital/Level 2 Trauma Center in Michigan is looking to hire a Clinical Director of OB & NICU. The Clinical Director of OB & NICU will lead the department's activities and manage resources to achieve both departmental and organizational goals. The role focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while aligning with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards.Key Responsibilities:Department Leadership: Develop and implement department goals, plans, and standards in line with the organization's clinical, administrative, and ethical objectives.Operations Management: Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, service levels, information technologies, and compliance management, to meet performance and quality control targets.Staff Management: Oversee staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and continuing education programs.Budget Oversight: Prepare, monitor, and evaluate the department's budget to ensure operations remain within allocated funding, and coordinate internal/external audits.Professional Development: Foster a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development for the team.Clinical Integration: Implement evidence-based practices into departmental operations and clinical protocols to enhance patient outcomes.Must-Have Qualifications:Education: Master's Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).Experience:10+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).5+ years of experience as an RN in OB (Obstetrics) or NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).5+ years of management experience in a clinical setting.Nice-to-Have Qualifications:Experience managing a unionized workforce.Benefits:Dental InsuranceMedical InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceRetirement PlansPaid Time OffSkills Required:Clinical AdministrationNICU and OB/GYN CareNursing and Patient Care DeliveryAdministrative ManagementStaffing and Human ResourcesBudget Management and AuditingInformation Technologies in HealthcareClinical Management and Evidence-Based PracticesSalary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 + Full benefits packageJob Type: Permanent (Full-time)Work Location: In-person, Marquette, MI.
