Munich Airport NJ LLC is an US-based subsidiary of the German Airport Operator Munich Airport. Munich Airport NJ LLC is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and concession management of New Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)! We are looking for an OCC Coordinator to join our team as soon as possible. Operations Control Center Coordinator You will be part of a dynamic team, helping to enhance travelers' journeys by providing best-in-class airport services and elevating travel experiences beyond expectation. Your Future ResponsibilitiesCoordinates successful execution of planned and unplanned operations in liaison with AirlinesPlans, coordinates and performs allocation changes and communicate changes to the affected stakeholders in a timely mannerMonitors the reception and records pertinent flight data required for daily operationsCoordinates and manages flight irregular operations: delays, return flights, cancellations, diversionsControl of provided flight data for completeness of each flight operation as well as clarification of ambiguities with airlinesMonitors FIDS display performance, dynamic signage and staff pages, to verify that flight data updates trigger the corresponding actions in these systemsMonitors the passenger/baggage/aircraft process, reacts according to procedures when the operational performance is not the expectedCommunicates with the operations team when required regarding all significant changes or updates which may impact operationsIssues reports and identifies trendsEvent coordination and follow up of its resolutionOther duties as assigned by the OCC Duty ManagerYour Education & TrainingBachelor's Degree in Aviation, Transportation Management, Engineering or extensive coursework or relevant designation in ICAO, IATA, ACI, IAAE programs OR equivalent in terms of years of experience3 years or more of experience within a control center and/or 5 in the aviation sectorYour Skills & ExperienceAbility to analyze and review capabilities of workflow processesCapacity to collect information, generate reports and ability to analyze and identify/foresee possible eventsWorking experience with resource management systemsGood coordination and communication skillsStakeholder focused, establishing good relationshipsAbility to work under pressureTact and diplomacy while dealing with others under difficult circumstancesExtensive experience with airport operations Good reasons why you should become part of the airport familyBe part of the team who embraces diversity, fosters collaboration, practices mentorship, and believes in a positive, healthy work climateHelp Munich Airport, Europe's only 5-star Airport, to build on its reputation in the USInternational working environmentAttractive benefit package; Health, Vision, Dental, 401(k) Matching, LTD/STD, PTOMunich Airport US Holding and it's subdivision Munich Airport NJ LLC are equal opportunity employers.
