Job Title:Occupational Hand Therapist -$10,000 Sign-on Bonus
Job Type:Full-time(Mon-Fri; 40 hours per week. Will further discuss schedule during interview.)
Job Location:160 East 56th Street, NYC, NY (Midtown East; outpatient clinic)
Salary Range: $82,000.00 - $104,000.00 (commensurate with experience)
Responsibilities:
Occupational Hand Therapist responsibilities include ...
- Assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses.
- Devising creative treatment plans for individuals suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases.
- Provide excellent 1:1 care for your patients, spending an average of 40 minutes with each person.
- Helping patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
- Encouraging patients along the road to recovery.
- Medical specialties at the clinic include ortho, peds, sports medicine, and hand therapy.
- General ortho all ages including peds caseload.
Qualifications:
- NYS Occupational Therapist License
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
- CPR and first aid certification required
- CHT certification a plus
- New grad with level 2 experience in hand therapy OR CHT eligible (accumulated 4000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 years of experience)
