Job Description & Requirements**Supervisory:*** Delegates authority to COTA's and Technicians**Clinical:*** Maintains productivity level at department target* Evaluates and establishes treatment plan for any patient referred to Occupational Therapy* Remains competent in the following areas: Evaluation skills, Therapeutic exercise, ADL training, Cognitive skills, Wheelchair transfers, Splinting, Modalities as appropriate for Occupational Therapist* Attends and provides continuing education in-servicing* Serves as mentor for new employee(s) or volunteers* Serves as clinical instructor after one year of experience as a clinician* Completes documentation according to all regulations and in a timely manner* To meet patient care needs you may be required to cover other areas of rehab within the limits and scope of your clinical competencies**Budget:*** Remains within monthly budget when ordering equipment and supplies* Charges patients appropriately and in a timely manner for treatment and equipment**Other:*** Must be competent in use of computer for documentation and charging purposes**Requirements:*** Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy* Must hold a current state License based on facility location* Must be certified in CPR* Must demonstrate competency in assessment and treatment of the following areas where applicable: Neonates/Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
