Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional abilities, sensory processing, and fine motor skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and help them achieve their educational goals in accordance with their IEP.
- Collaborate with other members of the student's education team to provide comprehensive care.
- Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for students with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment.
- Observe & assess students' progress and prepare detailed reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License.
- Proof of professional liability insurance.
- Experience in a PreK-12 school setting.
- Possible Covid-19 testing and/or vaccination required by school.
- Valid Driver's License, proof of registration and insurance.
- Must have current (or be able to clear) required state and federal background checks and relevant clearances.
