FlexStaff FlexStaff is seeking a compassionate and dedicated team member committed to enhancing the quality of life for the elderly population. Our client's day-habilitation program and patient residence focus on providing comprehensive support that promotes independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Our client is currently searching for a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join their team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in helping elderly clients achieve their highest level of independence and engage meaningfully in their daily lives. You will work in a dual setting-spending half of your day in our clinic and the other half providing in-home therapy to clients. Your expertise will help assess clients' needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to enhance their functional abilities. Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine individual client needs and goals. - Develop and implement tailored occupational therapy treatment plans. - Provide therapeutic interventions that promote independence and improve daily living skills. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and family members, to ensure cohesive care. - Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. - Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support daily functioning and overall well-being. Qualifications: - Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. - Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. - Experience working with elderly populations in both clinical and home settings is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to care. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
