Job Description:
Job DescriptionWe are hiring in Valhalla NY! Join us at Easterseals Valhalla for an exciting career as an Occupational Therapist.Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000
  • Work as a member of the team (family, staff and other service providers) to provide quality supports and services for children and their families.
  • Participate in team evaluations to determine developmental status and initial or ongoing eligibility.
  • Develop IFSP's with other team members.
  • Maintain professional standards, and current skills in therapy techniques.
  • Provide occupational therapy services for children.
  • Write progress notes on time schedule addressing the child's strengths, needs and progress.
  • Complete record keeping as required by licensing/certifying agency.
  • Aid in maintaining equipment and workspace.
  • Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and other meetings as assigned.
  • Assist in staff development and training.
Experience and Education:
  • Bachelors Degree or its equivalent in the field of Occupational Therapy from a recognized college or university
  • Current license by the State Board of Registration in Medicine
  • Three years experience working with children as a therapist is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
