*MedAdventures *is looking for a skilled *Occupational Therapist* to join one of our largest Skilled Nursing Facility partners in the *Galax, VA *area! *Compensation and Schedule:** Target Pay Range $50-55/HR W2* Comprehensive benefits options* Flexible Schedule is M-F Day Shift *Responsibilities ** The primary purpose of your job is to return patients to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals.* Screen/Evaluates all residents to determine need for Occupational Therapy.* Establishes an individualized treatment program with consultation to facility staff in areas of Occupational Therapy.* Provides results of the evaluation and treatment objectives to caregivers, family members, and residents.* Completes all documentation as required by the fiscal intermediary, within the designated time frame.* Implements the treatment program based on evaluative results.* Monitors the resident's response to treatment and alters the treatment plan as appropriate.* Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants and Rehab Aides. *Required Qualifications:** Employee must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.* Current and valid license granted from state of employment.* Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but not required. *Keywords:* Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapist, OTR/L, OTR, Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Nursing Facility, rehabilitation therapy Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Continuing education credits* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* GeriatricsSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to Friday* No nights* No weekends License/Certification:* CPR Certification (Preferred)* Physical Therapy License (Required) Ability to Commute:* Galax, VA (Required) Ability to Relocate:* Galax, VA: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person %{{advertiserId}}% %%{{category}}%%
