POSITION: Occupational TherapistLOCATION: Chateaugay Central SchoolDESCRIPTION: Perform Occupational Therapy evaluations for appropriate children. Enhance level of functioning in areas of visual, auditory, somatosensory (tactile, proprioceptive, and vestibular) perception. Maintain or improve motor functioning through range of motion, muscle strengthening, gross and fine motor coordination activities, normalization of muscle tone. Achieve maximum level of independence in toileting, feeding, dressing, grooming, mobility, object manipulation and communication. Adapt equipment design, construction, and instruction for use.
