Follows predetermined physical therapy treatment program on the basis of medical prescription and licensed Physical Therapist's evaluation for patients with neurological, vascular, cardio-pulmonary, orthopedic, medical, neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders.2.Assists with a range of physical therapeutic treatments involving therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, manual therapy such as massage, mobilization and therapeutic exercises.3.Administers traction treatment using traction equipment in the treatment of spinal impairment or diseases,acting only upon the licensed Physical Therapist's approval and direction.4.Observes patient's reaction during treatment sessions, compiles records and enters information on physicaltherapy chart. Submits written reports to supervisors.5.Makes appropriate changes in treatment plans only on approval of licensed Physical Therapist.6.Fits patients for, adjusts and trains in use of supportive devices such as crutches, canes, wheelchairs and walkers.7.Confers with members of physical therapy staff and other health team members to exchange and discusspatient information.8.Performs related clerical duties, such as taking inventory and requisitioningPrepares work areas and materials and maintains special equipment.Minimum Qualifications1.
