Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist
Population: Upper Extremity and Neurology
Location: RUSH Physical Therapy - Oak Park, IL
Schedule: Full Time 40 Hour Work Week

RUSH in Oak Park IL is seeking a full time Hand Therapist or Occupational Therapist for our outpatient center! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands (required).
This position will require some travel to our neighboring Oak Lawn center. Both outpatient locations treat upper extremity and neuro patients with additional OTs and CHTs available for onsite support. We are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT. Our national network of OTs and CHTs offer additional resources for clinicians of all experience levels.

Responsibilities
* Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
* High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
* Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
* Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
* CPR certified
* Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
* Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
