Occupational Therapist - Travel
Synchrony Rehab is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for our in-house travel therapy team! If you are compassionately committed to customer service and have the necessary qualifications, we would like to hear from you!
Job Description:
- Provide therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention in facilities and/or outpatient care
- Travel to various locations with possible overnight stays in a designated territory
- Conduct initial assessments and contribute to interdisciplinary care plans
- Evaluate patient response to treatment and provide feedback to the team
- Document the course of patient care and participate in survey preparation activities
- Provide patient and family education for continued functional independence
- Function as a resource for employees and provide in-service/cross-training on occupational therapy
Qualifications and Education:
- Graduate of a four-year bachelor's degree program approved by the CAHEA of the AMA in collaboration with the AOTA
- Must hold an applicable, unrestricted state license and maintain current CPR Certification
- Two years' experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care environment preferred
- Exemplary computer skills, including the Microsoft Suite of products
