Occupational Therapist to join our therapy department! Our therapy department is comprised of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-language Pathologists, COTAs, and Physical Therapist Assistants and collaborates with our restorative nursing services team to gain the best patient outcomes. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated and knowledgeable Occupational Therapist with a passion for caring for others.

ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY: Via Health Services at Fleur Heights is an 89-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with memory support located in Des Moines, IA. At Via Health Services, it is our vision to create a warm and inviting community that provides exceptional care and service.
JOB SUMMARY: As an Occupational Therapist, you will assist our residents in developing, recovering, or maintaining the skills needed for daily living. Your role will evaluate and treat our residents with physical, emotional, or cognitive impairments to help them achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life through designing and implementing therapy programs tailored to each resident's needs and goals.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- State Licensure: Current state licensure without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific certification
- Certification: Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred
SKILLS: - Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation
