* Services include cardiac testing, emergency, intensive care, lab, imaging, surgery and a medical office building for physician practices.

Responsibilities & Requirements
The Occupational Therapy Assistant is a licensed professional who provides treatment for patients in accordance with state and national practice acts. In cooperation with the referral source & occupational therapist, provides therapy treatment designed to improve function, decrease pain, and/or prevent disability. Communicates changes in the patient's condition and/or needs to the occupational therapist to ensure updates to the treatment plan and goals. Major tasks and duties include, but are not limited to: direct patient care, day to day patient scheduling, supervision of occupational therapy assistant students, consultation with physicians and other team members, documentation in the electronic medical record, quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI), clinical education, guest relations, and billing for patient services rendered and other duties as assigned.
Minimum EducationGraduation from an accredited school for Occupational therapy assistant required. Required Licenses[Ohio, United States] Occupational Therapy Assistant and AideMust be licensed by the State of Ohio Required SkillsNBCOT Certification PreferredCPR certified.Ability to perform therapy treatments in accordance with the established plan of care. Ability to communicate with supervising physical therapist, patients, physicians and staff.Ability to delegate appropriate treatment activities to supportive personnel.Knowledge of and ability to use therapy equipment.Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, documentation in electronic medical record.Has good interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask.
