DESCRIPTION
Program Directors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to develop, maintain and deliver education services to students through:
* Creating and Maintaining core curriculum across the institution
* Communicating and monitoring delivery of core curriculum
* Preparing course plans and material
* Delivering courses
* Monitoring progress/attendance
* Advising students
* Recording grades and submitting reports
Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Director must have a Master's Degree, a current, unrestricted State of Florida Occupational Therapy Practitioner (OT or OTA) license and 5 years of clinical practice in the field of OT. Must also have the minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience and curriculum development, as well as familiarity with ACOTE Standards and accreditation processes. In addition, must have the minimum of one-year of full-time administrative experience, including the supervision of OTA practitioners.
This is a full time position that requires day, evening and weekend availability.
