In our OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, PHYSICAL THERAPY, and SPEECH THERAPY departments, our Therapists and Language Pathologists provide direct patient care including assessment development of the plan on care, treatment, documentation, and patient education to clients of all ages. They work to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient performance and function. Our Physical and Occupational Therapists are supported by Assistants.
Experience/Qualifications
* Graduation from an accredited school:
* MA for Speech/Language Pathology
* BS for Occupational Therapy
* BS, MS, or DPT for Physical Therapy
* Associate degree for Assistants
* Experience in a clinical or hospital setting beneficial.
Licensure
* Current Michigan licensure.
* Current BLS certification or obtained.
* For Home Health:
* Valid driver's license required.
* Possesses automobile liability insurance with minimum $100,000/$300,000 coverage required, or $300,000 combined single-limit liability.

Aspirus Iron River Hospital and Clinics is one of four hospitals in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the Aspirus family.
With 300+ employees, Aspirus Iron River Hospital and Clinics serves people through a 25-bed hospital, physician clinics, dialysis center, rehab fitness centers, ambulance service, and home care and hospice. The outpatient part of this practice is located in a stand-alone clinic. This allows the provider to work independently yet have the specialist support and financial security from the entire Aspirus health care system. The critical access hospital has an average daily census of 9-10 patients.
The hospital and clinics provide numerous services and has up to date technology, including a 64 slice CT and a mobile MRI. The medical staff includes family practitioners, internal medicine, general surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, radiologist, emergency medicine physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. Visiting medical staff includes ophthalmologist, oncologist, cardiologist, ENT, podiatrist, and nephrologist.
Aspirus at Home is a part of the Aspirus health system and is a nonprofit, Medicare-certified home health agency that serves 14 north central Wisconsin counties. We offer services in North central Wisconsin and parts of the UP. Aspirus At Home helps to bridge the gap between the more intensive levels of care received in a hospital, nursing or rehabilitation facility and in client's home. For 60 years we have provided caring support to help people live in their own home as long as possible.
