Hiring Manager(s)Location Sandy Run - Build & Distribution (SCDC) Category Distribution DescriptionStier Supply Company is a 70 year old family run and operated organization whose goal is to be the #1 Millwork Services company in the Southeast US. Our install teams are responsible for working in new residential neighborhoods where they focus on installing exterior doors, interior doors, trim, stairs, hardware, and blinds. We are looking for a detail-oriented, energetic, and organized SECOND SHIFT Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and organizational support to our senior leadership at our Gaston/Sandy Run, South Carolina location. The ideal candidate is able to manage and prioritize multiple projects while working independently with little to no supervision. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to the following:
  • Use web applications to gather necessary information and data
  • Clearly communicate information to the field and office personnel
  • Create and maintain daily reports
  • Review and input Purchase Orders into the company's accounting software for billing purposes
  • Uses appropriate tools for required work including Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel to track, document, report data, and maintain builders' schedules
  • Prepare detailed bid packages of material lists, labor, and other documents to the Lead Estimator
  • Review field takeoffs to ensure: material, quantity, color selections & trim locations match customer specs and selected options
Qualities of the ideal candidate include:
  • Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft, and Dropbox
  • Able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize time and responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential material is required
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of office environment experience
