Job Summary

Visiting Angels is searching for an Office Administrative Associate/Home Care Scheduler who has availability to work at our office M-F from 9:30am5pm at our Lawrenceville office. Ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, customer-service oriented, lives near Lawrenceville, and is dog-friendly (our Office Mascot is a friendly Bichon Frise)! This position involves frequent phone calls/interaction with caregivers and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Use cloud-based scheduling software to schedule shifts, along with our lead scheduler
  • Document all communication with clients and caregivers
  • Communicate with clients and caregivers regarding any schedule updates or changes
  • Communicate and reinforce Visiting Angels policies and procedures
  • Speak on the telephone in a professional and friendly manner
  • Provide support and encouragement to caregiver employees
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Perform general clerical duties such as messaging, copying, scanning, filing
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, prospective clients, office colleagues, caregiver employees, etc.
  • Perform other functions as deemed appropriate by management

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to see the big picture and solve issues accordingly
  • Extremely comfortable and adept using a computer; Microsoft Office365
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable speaking with people on the phone while problem-solving
  • Must be self-motivated and driven
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Must be well-organized and have excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person
  • Ability to remain flexible and calm
  • Previous experience in scheduling is a plus, but not a requirement

Salary: $20/hour
