You will also oversee the dispatching of trucks, coordinating schedules, assigning routes, and ensuring drivers are informed of their next stops. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in logistics and dispatching, a sharp attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure. organizational and multitasking skills are essential, as you'll be balancing administrative tasks with real-time problem-solving to keep operations running smoothly. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite is required, and familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus. - Assist in ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Act as a liaison between drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution.
- Generate and analyze reports related to logistics performance and operational metrics.
- Handle high-pressure situations and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
