The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to handle various administrative responsibilities, including support for human resources, finance, and contract management. This role is critical in maintaining effective workflows and supporting the team's efforts to meet government contracting goals.Key Responsibilities
  • Office Management:
    • Assist with day-to-day office operations, including maintaining office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
    • Coordinate and manage office logistics, such as scheduling meetings, organizing conference calls, and booking travel arrangements.
    • Assistance with event management - meetings, office parties, networking events etc.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide direct administrative support to executive staff and other departments.
    • Handle incoming communications, including phone calls and emails, and distribute as needed.
    • Prepare, edit, and format documents and reports for internal and client-facing purposes.
  • Human Resources Assistance:
    • Support HR functions, including onboarding new employees, tracking time and attendance, and maintaining employee records.
    • Assist with recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Collaborate with team members to coordinate project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.
    • Maintain organized records of project status, timelines, and progress for internal reporting.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role, ideally in a government contracting or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), Adobe Acrobat and familiarity with project management apps.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred but not essential.
