Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or sufficient education, training and experience to perform position duties
- Some experience in clerical, secretarial or similar office positions is required
- Experience with automated information management systems including word processing is preferred
- Experience effectively working with the public is desirable
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Job Duties - Bilingual Preferred - Regular and punctual attendance required - Perform various clerical, secretarial and office support for an administrator - Type a variety of routine and complex documents, reports, forms and correspondence - Translate: communicate information to families in Spanish/English - Conduct parent meetings - Use various school software systems to maintain school accountability - Assist with administrative and student related activities: registration, calling absentees, contacting parents, checking students in/out, and other related tasks - Operate various types of office equipment such as copiers, fax, scanners, etc. - Learn and maintain knowledge of policies, routine record keeping and required reports - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and information pertaining to individual students and/or overall program - Recruit parent volunteers - Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
