Seeking an Office Assistant 2 in the Advancement Financial Services department within the Division of Institutional Advancement.
This position works Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm with a half hour lunch. This is a temporary appointment, expected to last through 12/31/24. Salary is $19.83 per hour.
Major Responsibilities
Gift Support
* Daily processing of gifts - including ACH, multi-pay, credit cards, confirmation of matching gifts.
* Preparation of weekly accounts payable disbursements for CCF, CCFP and AE and payment processing through Red Dragon Depot and procurement card systems.
* Preparation of gift acknowledgements and pledge reminder letters, merging tax letters.
Secretarial Support
* Agenda preparation, minute taking, mail merges, data entry, scanning and indexing documents, calling constituents and answering phones, creating scholarship and program files.
* Purchase and maintain office supplies and Annual Giving stationary inventories.
* Assist the Assistant Director of Advancement Financial Services with Excel spreadsheet maintenance and various cost analysis.
* Reconcile accounts with bank statements and control ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
* Perform mathematical operations, create spreadsheets, use calculator.
* Provide information retrieved from databases.
* Provide backup for other office staff and assists with other duties as assigned.
Functional and Supervisory Relationships Required Qualifications
High School or equivalent diploma.
