We are searching for a talented Office Assistant - Hospital Based

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day Shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision of the Practice Administrator or designee, perform a variety of office, clerical and other related duties both within and in support of the Southcoast Physician Group at the assigned hospital sites. Duties include, but are not limited to answering telephones, screening calls, receiving and relaying messages, and facilitating daily group communication. Assist with program scheduling and time keeping as directed.Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized courses or training.
  • One (1) year related work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
  • Previous medical receptionist and computer experience or background in general office work is preferred.
  • Previous public contact work is desired.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Pay RangeUSD $16.55 - USD $27.78 /Hr.
