Busy insurance office hiring a general Office Assistant. Location: Diamond Springs, CA Pay: $19-20/hour Job type: Full-time Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm Benefits: Medical insurance with a 50% contribution, Paid Holidays, 5 days PTO, 5 days of sick pay, Description:
- Provide general office assistance and front office support
- Greet customers, answer phones, handle mail
- Provide friendly and professional customer service - Answer basic questions from customers, collect payments, enter into the system, print paperwork and forms for clients
- Make routine calls to policyholders regarding driver's licenses, proof for good student discounts, handle monthly agreement forms and confirming any changes
- Follow up on document requests, assist policyholders with registering on company's website
- Process tow bills, accept in person payments
Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of previous office experience required, cash handling experience a plus Good communication experience working with customers Accurate data entry and attention to detail Must be willing to obtain Property & Casualty license An offer of employment is contingent of successful completion of a background check and DMV record check
