- Answer phones providing information to callers; responding to emails, checking voicemail.
- Perform routine office procedures including picking up and sorting mail, ensuring office equipment is functioning properly and serviced as needed. Including order and maintain inventory of office supplies for the office and meetings.
- Assist in the operation of the camp store by maintaining appropriate inventory, recording sales, acting as cashier.
- Assist in processing of purchase orders and accounts payable.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of Board minutes and other correspondence. This includes attending board meetings which occur outside of regular camp office hours.
- Coordinate the collection of camper health and wellness information and ensuring timely delivery of that information to the Wellness Center. Collecting the information includes contacting parents and/or physician offices to obtain necessary medical information.
- Assist Parents with Registration needs.
- Enter camper health forms into Campwise.
- Support the new hire onboarding process for camp staff and volunteers by ensuring required forms are completed, required trainings are completed along with setting up finger printing.
- Maintain vehicle and driver check in/out process, including summer van rentals.
- Submit internal incident and worker's compensation reporting timely.
- Maintain up to date business licenses.
- Assist with preparation of grounds for summer; schedule port-a-potties.
- Some duties may be reassigned, and other duties may be assigned as required.
- During the camp off season while supporting the Association Resource Center, primarily the Human Resource Department,
- Provide clerical and administrative support to HR projects (meetings, training, surveys).
- Process documentation and prepare reports relative to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, performance evaluations, year-end reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years office experience with a general knowledge of interdepartmental office procedures and computer skills such as Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Desire to work in an overnight camp community.
- Use of telephone, computer
- Must be able to work a non-traditional schedule, including early/late hours and weekends especially during camp season.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-lingual skills
- Prior experience with children and young adults
