Our client is seeking a dedicated Office Associate to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the team supporting the office and drivers.
**Job Title: Office Assistant**
**Location: Hardeeville, SC**
**Pay Range: 16.50**
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage scale - scale all inbound/outbound trucks and ensure proper documentation is given to docks and drivers (bill of ladings, unloading tallies, etc.).
+ Create accurate receipts and shipments in CRS. Receives paper for all on-site inbound/outbound loads. Ensure shipment paperwork is given to accounting clerk immediately after shipment in order for them send documentation to the customer in a timely manner. Manage truck schedule and print off daily.
+ Set up trucks for inbound and outbound loads as requested by sales person using the Lean Logistics system. Once unloading tallies are turned in from the dock/warehouse, match up with open receipt and put in accounting clerk's box.
+ Keep plant manager updated on paperwork not turned in in a timely manner so it can be discussed with doc/warehouse supervisors. Print daily shipping and receiving logs to ensure accuracy. Send monthly reports to waste paper vendors. Greet all visitors in a friendly manner and ensure they sign in and have proper PPE. Then point them in the right direction or notify proper personnel of their arrival. Attend daily safety meetings and complete trainings and tests when requested.
+ File paperwork. Answer phones and provide friendly customer service.
**What's Needed**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ must be able to work overtime as needed
+ must be willing to complete other administrative functions and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
+ Must Have 1-3 years of prior office support experience preferred including proficiency with data entry
+ Ability to lift 10 pounds consistently
