JOBTITLE: Office AssociateJOB PURPOSE:Perform advanced office and administrative/management support tasks.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform administrative tasks and projects. Analyze, process and maintain information as required.
- Assist supervisor by researching problems and providing resolution(s) as directed.
- Perform bookkeeping duties, organize data and oversee office functions as required.
- Prepare complex reports regarding personnel staffing and budgetary requests for personnel, supplies and equipment; perform associated analysis and interpretations.
- May perform a variety of marketing, public relations, and special event projects and tasks.
- Provide training regarding department and University procedures; may provide computer application(s)/procedures training.
- Some positions may perform student academic advising.
- Perform special projects, as directed.
- May guide or supervise other office staff as required.
- Main receptionist for the School of Nursing. Develop and maintain record keeping systems for multiple sources of data. Organize mail and shipping for the nursing programs.
- Provide course support for faculty which may include assistance with textbook orders and desk copy requests.
- Manage class scheduling and room assignments for all program courses, post the final class schedule in the UW system, distribute teaching assignments and class schedule to faculty and staff. Track faculty immunization information. Assist with Course Action Request process and maintain the curriculum files for all programs, involving undergraduate and graduate coordinators as needed.
- Coordinate, deploy, and gather data for course, teacher, and advisor evaluations necessary to maintain national and state accreditation. Compile and analyze evaluation data and prepare related reports.
- Compile student clinical placement data and report to Human Resources for insurance and workers ' compensation. Coordinate workers' compensation claims for students.
- Coordinate faculty and student travel. Assist with p-care reconciling. Assists with school events.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
- May assist with departmental budget planning process including research and provide/prepare financial reports.
- Assist with revision of forms and office procedures.
- Complete special projects for Dean and Business Manager as needed

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: 2 years progressively responsible work-related experienceValid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with cloud-based computer systems, such as WyoCloud.
- Experience with student information systems, such as Banner.
- Outstanding customer service skills with ability to interact professionally with a variety of stakeholders.
- Office skills with experience in managing and maintaining detailed records and data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain organized while managing multiple projects.
- Experience with scheduling, such as scheduling classes, meetings, and travel.
