About the job Office Clerk (Towson, MD) Office Clerk needed for our government client in Towson. The Office Clerk will be responding to customer inquiries, entering data, greeting visitors and filing. Six month contract position with possible extension or contract to hire consideration. The non-negotiable pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Essential Duties:
- Responding to customer inquiries for social services by phone and in person.
- Working with customers to complete questionnaires before referring them to Human Service staff.
- Entering data into the database.
- Filing documents.
Qualifications:
- Must have good communication skills with office etiquette.
- Must type at least 40 wpm and basic Microsoft Word skills.
- Must be available to work between the hours of 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch.
- All work is performed on site.
- Able to pass a background check and drug test.
