Duties Under the supervision of the Regional Manager and CRL of HOCC Cardiology Clinic, the Office Coordinator is responsible for ensuring office functions related to the outpatient processes of Clinical Cardiology (e.g., registration, scheduling, template management for all providers and resources, communications, data entry/management, assignment of front desk duties etc.). The Office Coordinator will ensure all front desk responsibilities are carried out in an organized and highly efficient manner. The Office Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating special projects/contracts (e.g., Avaya Phone Tracking/Assignments, HHC systems support, Interoffice courier services, coordinating provider PTO time, etc.). The Office Coordinator will participate in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures and program evaluation to determine program efficacy. This position will also assist with and coordinate onboarding or orientation of new front desk team members along side Regional Manager, CRL, and Nurse educator.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or medical office experience, preferably in a hospital or physician office setting

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years of healthcare or physician office experience preferred
  • Cardiology office experience strongly prefred
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft office applications and electronic medical records

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in EPIC charting systems and template management
  • Ability to work independently and productively in a high volume, multifaceted work environment.
  • Detailed oriented with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple task assignments in a highly organized fashion.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Exceptional communication and team development skills.
  • Ability to present professionally and comfortably in often stressful and busy environments.
