Job Description:

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervises Student Summer Conferencing Assistants
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Office Coordinator is an integral part of the Housing and Residence Life operation within the residence halls and collaborates with nearly all members of the Department to assist in the smooth operation of the Department. The Office Coordinator, in conjunction with other team members in the department, manages the College's parking operation. In addition to the RDs, the Office Coordinator serves as an important point of contact for resident students in need of assistance within the residence halls.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
* Manage the office and implement efficient ways of keeping the offices running smoothly in a neat and organized manner. Develop processes to ensure this happens.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for individuals interacting with the office. Appropriately triage/route individuals depending on their specific needs.
* Liaise with the Director of Facilities and/or Maintenance Supervisors to appropriately respond to resident requests for service.
* Manage the student, faculty, & staff parking operation. This includes creating and distributing parking applications, processing payments, distributing parking permits, and coordinating event and guest parking for the campus.
* Coordinate with Administration & Finance Department members related to any parking shuttle concerns.
* Receive, process, and track all bills and/or invoices relating to Residence Hall Operation in line with the College's accounting practices.
* Maintain office supplies, ordering replacement supplies/materials, and maintaining office equipment.
* Assist in the documentation and management of resident student damage billing within College software systems.
* Co-supervise, train, and recruit Mailroom Assistants with RD staff.
* Assist in the student leadership hiring process to hire summer and AY student staff members to the Department. This includes co-supervision of student staff during their time of employment.
* Assist in the implementation of the summer conference program to include answering prospective guest questions, providing direction to guests, assisting with apartment set-up and administrative documentation preparation/tracking.
* Maintains, in collaboration with others, accurate data in various departmental databases (Colleague, THD, etc)
* Participate in major Departmental initiatives such as, but not limited to: move-in, accepted students days, move-out, and summer conferences.
* Other related duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, live-off, benefited, non-exempt, professional APA position. The annual salary range for this position is $55,000- $58,656, commensurate with relevant professional experience and education.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree
* 1-2 years of previous administrative experience.
* Experience working in a residence hall setting.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
* Knowledge of training in Inclusivity and issues of Social Justice
* Experience as an hearing officer for Student Conduct
* Knowledge of Academic and College policies
* Experience with Crisis Management/Case Management
* Experience with Conduct Management
* Experience with housing and conduct software
* Proficiency or Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
