IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a full-time Office Coordinator to support the busy operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative support tasks and will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. #LI-ONSITE
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
* Be the face of IXL: Greet guests, sign and deliver packages, send company-wide announcements
* Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondences
* Order office supplies including kitchen, general office, and shipping; manage and track all orders; keep supplies stocked and organized; manage vendor relations; and maintain office equipment
* Coordinate meals as needed for meetings and/or events
* Perform administrative tasks, such as making travel arrangements and managing visiting employees and teams
* Assist with corporate-wide initiatives
* Assist with coordinating office socials and events
* Assist in overseeing office expansions
* Run business errands as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Bachelor's degree
* 2+ years of experience in an office environment or equivalent
* Ability to assess a situation and problem-solve to a positive outcome
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
* Energetic, mature, positive person who can work independently
* Ability to work with high confidentiality
* Experience with Google Suite, including Gmail, Cal and Docs
* Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $24-27 per hour + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
