Family Promise of Gwinnett seeks a dedicated Office Manager to oversee daily operations at our Day Center, ensuring a welcoming, well-maintained environment for guests, staff, and volunteers. This role coordinates property management for our buildings and grounds, manages donations, provides essential administrative support, and assists with volunteer coordination to support our mission of helping families in need. Key Responsibilities: Day Center Operations Manage maintenance for shelter, transitional housing, and Day Center facilities. Oversee and schedule volunteers, facilities committee members, and maintenance activities. Greet visitors and provide appropriate referrals to staff. Conduct regular and preventative maintenance for vehicles and buildings. Keep guest areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Donation Management Organize and maintain the storage shed, ensuring inventory is accessible and stocked. Manage, sort, and inventory incoming donations. Coordinate volunteers for donation sorting and distribution. Financial & Grant Support Assist the Bookkeeper in payment processing and maintaining financial records. Track and record donations in Bloomerang; manage thank-you notes and donor acknowledgments. Monitor and report on grant funding, coordinating with grant writers as needed. Administrative Support Assist Executive Director in administrative needs. Oversee the information email and respond to calls. Maintain databases, guest folders, and agency mailing lists. Order supplies, manage bulk mailings, and ensure the Day Center and offices are clean and organized. Volunteer Coordination Train and guide office volunteers, fostering a welcoming environment. Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills to connect with individuals of all backgrounds. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about Family Promises mission and dedicated to supporting families in need. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Possess a problem-solving mindset and a can-do-it attitude. Takes initiative and navigates challenges with resourcefulness and determination. Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma; 2 years in office management or administrative support; proficiency in MS Office, Google applications, and donor/volunteer management platforms and strong organizational skills. Property management experience is a plus. Preferred: Experience with Bloomerang and volunteer management. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various outdoor conditions. Capability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs as needed.
