Position Title Office Manager and Alumni Liaison Position Number 897605 School/Division Honor's College DepartmentFull-Time or Part-Time Full-Time Description Reporting to the Dean, the Office Manager and Alumni Liaison will oversee the logistical side of all Stuart and Nancy Rabinowitz Honors College (RHC) operations. This position will be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of our alumni relations program including data collection and event planning in cooperation with the Alumni Affairs and Development team. Must be available for additional hours in support of programs and events. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provides executive assistant support to the Dean.
  • Supervises the selection and management of student aides and staff for the Stuart and Nancy Rabinowitz Honors College.
  • Manages and maintains RHC budget records, including accounts payable, check requisitions and budget transfers.
  • Manages the daily operations of the Stuart and Nancy Rabinowitz Honors College and oversees facility operations.
  • Responsible for collecting and reporting specific outcomes data involving student engagement with the Dean's office.
  • Advises students regarding progress towards program requirements and assists in the registration process for students adjusting their schedules.
  • Responsible for events management duties including logistics, venues, and communications to ensure seamless execution.
  • Involved in all planning for RHC, including outreach programs to students, faculty, administrators, and alumni.
  • Oversees logistical planning for all extra and co-curricular programs and trips.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 5 years of related experience.
  • Extensive experience providing administrative support in an academic setting and evidence of strong problem-solving skills and creative management of office information systems.
  • Expert knowledge of Ellucian Banner, Navigate, Canva, Canvas, Google Workspace and all Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous event management experience preferred.
