Position OverviewThe Assistant Office Manager works alongside the Office Manager at their site to ensure that clients and families receive outstanding service at Gather Behavioral Health. Additionally, the Assistant Office Manager plays a key part in creating a warm and welcoming environment for both clients and staff at Gather Behavioral Health.ScheduleMonday through Friday, during regular business hours ~8a-5pHow Assistant Office Managers Empower Recovery
  • Work to ensure site interest list is as low as possible. Maintains focus on getting clients the services they need as quickly as possible. Track and maintain client referral data and waitlist management systems.
  • Monitor provider openings for ability to take on new clients
  • Create a warm & welcoming environment for all clients and staff including greeting everyone and managing client concerns as needed
  • Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments for clients, answer incoming calls and provide assistance to callers in a caring and helpful manner
  • Work with Medical Records department to coordinate client requests
  • Mail letters and group materials to clients as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years experience in healthcare industry or administrative setting strongly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office programs with ability to learn new applications
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred
