PathPoint, a leading provider of support services that empower individuals with disabilities, mental illness, and other disadvantages to be valued members of our community, is seeking an Office Manager/HR Assistant to join our North Central Coast division. In this role, you will oversee all administrative processes for our offices in San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria. You'll also be the local Human Resources representative for over 170 staff and help them with day-to-day HR needs.

No two days are the same in this role, and we are looking for someone who is highly organized, resourceful, adaptable, self-directed, and great with time management. The position can be based in either Santa Maria or SLO, and requires regular weekly travel between both offices.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week.

Compensation: This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $22.50-$23.50 per hour. The pay range is $19.97-$29.95 an hour, the pay range is subject to change based on a variety of factors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee all administrative processes and procedures in the North Central Coast division. Directly supervise administrative assistants in multiple office locations.

* Assist staff and supervisors with HR matters, including performance appraisals, disciplinary concerns, policies and procedures, worker's compensation, and benefits questions.

* Perform accounting functions for the division, including coding invoices, petty cash and credit card reconciliations, and bank deposits.

* Manage the hiring process, including screening candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, and checking references. Conduct new hire orientation and benefits orientation for all staff.

* Ensure that time sheets and time off requests are submitted and approved in accordance with PathPoint's payroll schedule and policies.

* Manage telephones, computers, facilities, and vehicle maintenance. Coordinate repairs when needed.

* Assist with planning and coordinating division events and meetings, including monthly safety meetings and trainings, open houses, and fundraising events.

Position Requirements:

* 3+ years of administrative experience required. Previous supervisory experience and some human resources experience required.

* Office management and facility maintenance experience preferred.

* General knowledge of bookkeeping or billing procedures.

* Must have a valid California driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, 5 years of driving experience, and be eligible for coverage on PathPoint's auto insurance policy with regular use of a vehicle for routine travel between SLO and Santa Maria.

* BA/BS degree or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
