Job Summary The Office Manager is responsible for assisting in managing the daily activities of the office-related services to achieve customer service, satisfaction, and cost objectives. Through a detailed understanding of all C.R. Laurence products, the Manager offers solutions and facilitates a unique experience for all internal and external customers. In addition, completed general administrative support in a hectic and fast-paced environment. This position serves as an ambassador to the company and will be the face of the company through daily interactions. A key aspect of this role is to provide effective leadership, communication, and motivation to achieve operational objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will assist with managing all activities at the site and have a strong focus on process control. They will:
- Maintain broad knowledge of clients, products, and services.
- Assist with managing the Will Call business to ensure customers are provided a high level of service.
- Order Processing
- walk-in business
- Communicate with various departments regarding supply chain and service issues.
- Proactive Customer Service
- Technical Sales
- Product Management/Quality
- Respond to all inquiries in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner between internal working associates, manufacturers, and customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Assist with oversight of the following processes:
- Sales Order processing: order entry, billing, returns.
- Personnel
- Safety management system
- Manage the office staff.
Regular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job. Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements To be considered for an Office Manager position, the following conditions must be met:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of warehouse distribution experience including 3 years of experience in a service/distribution center, preferably B2B.
- A detailed orientation with a desire to follow a proven process.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Organized and able to keep others organized with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and conduct yourself professionally, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrating critical thinking and independent thinking skills to anticipate and resolve issues.
- Utilizes strong time management and organizational skills to successfully multi-task.
- Maintain business poise and professionalism under stressful situations.
- Handle difficult situations and dissatisfied customers calmly and professionally.
- Able to read and perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Strong communication skills, bilingual is a plus.
- Ability to effectively interface with customers.

Work Environment
- Noise levels in the work environment can be moderate to high.
- The plant facility is subject to the same general climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.).
- Chemicals, dust, pollen, and other typical airborne particulate matter are present within the atmosphere of the production floor and may create some odors in the plant. The Company, to provide its employees with a safe and healthy working environment, limits exposure to chemicals through written procedures, engineering controls, and PPE.
- While some chemicals may pose health risks if not properly used, employees are trained on the proper safety equipment and procedures for handling chemicals.
- While the chemical exposure and odors are under acceptable levels set by OSHA and the WCB, they nevertheless, can be smelled and are handled according to the company's hazardous communication program.
