Job Description:

The Office Manager is responsible for all interfaces between the Timec accounting department and the Client accounting department. All Payroll, A/P and A/R functions will be routed through this position. Performs all activities necessary to process data for payroll and billing, including time validation and entry, reconciling payroll to billing reports, and processing billing through client systems.

Location: This position will be based out of our Dickinson, ND office

Hours: Base 40 hour work weeks.

Benefits: 401k, health insurance, 2 weeks vacation, 10 paid holidays (8 defined and 2 optional)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compiling, validating, and entering labor, per diem, mileage, and equipment into CMIC and client systems for payroll and billing.
  • Compute labor, per diem, mileage, and other payments; processes requests for payroll advances and payroll corrections.
  • Reconcile payroll, billing, and client system data to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
  • Responsible for collecting, validating, and entering third-party invoices for payment or billing.
  • Provide reports to management, clients, and finance.
  • Perform a wide variety of payroll, billing, reporting, and record keeping activities.
  • Aid employees with company related issues, be the point of contact between employees and other departments.
  • Complete new hire onboarding tasks related to document collection, benefits explanation, and scheduling testing as needed.
  • All other duties as requested.

  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Education and Experience

  • Two years of timekeeping or related experience and familiarity with industrial construction sites, Oilfield related experience is preferred.
  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or five years experience in a similar role.
  • Must be able to complete and pass client required drug testing and site training.
  • Valid Drivers License and good driving record required.

Work Conditions/ Physical Demands

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
  • Capable of working in a high stress environment
  • Able to remain in a stationary position 50-75% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinet, office machinery etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, etc.
  • Must practice safe work methods to remain accident and injury free.
