Job Description:
Office Manager - Asheville - Up to $22.00/hr.PrideStaff is recruiting for an Office Manager for a local home health care business. This is a great position for someone that is friendly, positive and has a helpful attitude. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Recruit/hire Caregivers.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including phones, email setup, computers, etc.
  • Manage calls according to company policies.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments; provide reminders to staff about important upcoming events.
  • Organize the office layout; order office supplies, when needed.
  • Organize and document office operations and procedures; ensure staff follows procedures.
  • Coordinate and oversee IT.
  • Manage contracts and price negotiations with vendors and service providers.
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities such as conferences and celebrations.
  • Provide staff direction through general meetings, outlining clear expectations and accountabilities.
  • Prepare managerial reports according to required timelines (include weekly and monthly reports).
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients and clients' families.
  • Provide timely and effective feedback to senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility, preferably in private duty homecare.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) applications, scheduling systems and other healthcare-industry related-software.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service excellence.
  • Excellent conceptual thinking skills with the capacity to analyze complex issues that are sensitive in nature.
  • Excel in conflict resolution and solution implementation.
  • Strong communication skills - both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate and accurately complete work activities within deadlines while managing interruptions.
  • Work independently and proactively with minimal direction and/or supervision.
Hours of Work: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $22.00
