Position Overview:As a key leader in our practice, you'll leverage advanced metrics, dashboards, and key performance indicators to elevate clinical performance, enforce best practices, and ensure the practice thrives. You'll drive financial success by meeting or exceeding budget and production targets, while meticulously managing financial records and ensuring accuracy.Your commitment to excellence will shine through as you prioritize patient satisfaction, ensuring top-tier care and service are always delivered. With a deep understanding of dental support functions-such as insurance collections, claims, fee schedules, and provider templates-you'll help the practice run smoothly and efficiently.You'll also play a vital role in financial stewardship, ensuring bank deposits are timely, safeguarding petty cash, and adhering to strict protocols. By working closely with the managing dentist, you'll actively contribute to the achievement of both clinical and financial goals.Collaboration is key-engage with the team during daily huddles, provider meetings, and staff interactions to share initiatives, provide updates, and offer guidance. Together, you'll shape a dynamic practice culture that fosters high performance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead with metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to elevate clinical outcomes and practice excellence.
  • Ensure financial goals are met and records are accurate, balancing both budget and production expectations.
  • Champion patient satisfaction by coordinating exceptional care and service.
  • Master the intricacies of dental insurance collections, claims, fee schedules, and provider templates.
  • Safeguard financial integrity by ensuring timely deposits, accurate petty cash management, and following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with the managing dentist to set and achieve ambitious clinical and financial targets.
  • Lead daily huddles and regular provider/team meetings, fostering communication and growth.
  • Provide consistent leadership and guidance alongside the managing dentist.
  • Maximize staff efficiency through smart scheduling, enhancing both patient flow and budgeted payroll hours.
  • Partner with the VP of Operations to deliver meaningful performance evaluations.
  • Attract and retain top talent, ensuring adherence to best hiring practices.
  • Oversee staff training to maintain current processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Design and implement performance improvement plans to elevate team standards.
  • Manage patient flow and office operations with precision and organization.
  • Ensure timely submission and follow-up of insurance claims.
  • Handle payroll and HR-related tasks in an efficient, timely manner.
  • Uphold HIPAA policies to safeguard patient privacy and sensitive information.
  • Adhere to all employee-related laws, regulations, and OSHA safety standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience managing staff in a customer-focused environment
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities
  • Outgoing, adaptable personality with strong multitasking skills
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for promoting excellent dental care and enhancing patient experiences
