Read on to learn more!Job SummaryThe Office Manager is responsible for closing the plant modules on the accounting system, running financial reports as needed, and ensuring the integrity and enforcement of accounting internal controls established. It is also responsible for overseeing plant personnel matters, compliance with HR government and corporate regulations, compliance with accounting policies, and for planning, directing and coordinating the administrative office functions.Works under general direction; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis; and a certain degree of creativity is expected.Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Works under general direction; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis; and a certain degree of creativity is expected.
  • Closes plant MODS in Reflections
  • Runs the plant P&L and other financial reports
  • Assist with inventory issues in the system and participates in inventory counts as needed
  • Works closely with plant management to assist with their staffing needs
  • Posting jobs and screening applicants
  • Managing temporary agencies and employees
  • Compliance with pre-employment drug test screening oversees the new hire and orientation process.
  • Ensures all new hires have access to the Employee Self-Service system and complete their benefits enrollment.
  • Ensures employees have access to IPay to view and print their paystubs.
  • Ensures Empower is closed on time and payroll information is communicated to the corporate HR Administration group on time and accurately.
  • Identify, research, and resolve Administrative problems and opportunities
  • Assist/troubleshoot Accounting functions in accordance with established procedures and Company policy
  • Cross-train and fill in as necessary for Admin Personnel
  • Review Internal Control Checklist with Management
  • Ensures the plant complies with Federal, State, and Company personnel laws and regulations, and HR policies and practices
  • Distributes and post communication pieces and materials throughout the office and the plant as necessary
  • Ensures the plant provides HR support and assistance to employees
  • Prepare and project cash flows and requirements
  • Ensures all personnel documents are scanned into OnBase to be filed on the employee's personnel file
  • Completes special projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in administration, business or related area, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one to three years of experience in office administration or related areas
  • Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of various office equipment (computer, scanner, etc)
