Description & Details: Do you enjoy a variety of responsibilities while assisting others in an energetic environment? The Wellness Center is looking for an individual to join our team as our Office Manager. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
* Provide departmental administrative support including ordering supplies, cash and credit card handling, daily deposit for child care and point of sale, refunds, record retention, inventory, surplus, copier maintenance and processing of the daily mail.
* Assist with human resource and payroll functions for 200+ employees including running payroll reports, applying work-study funds, completing change forms, termination and leave of absence process and providing support for summer interviews and new employee training.
* Assist with budget development and tracking including budget management, tracking, reporting and assisting in analyzing monthly expenses and revenues.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable including reconciliation of purchase cards and accounts payable entry for invoices.
* Serve as the IT Liaison including maintaining the departmental listserv, Zoom Phone, ordering computers and software, troubleshooting the KABA Clock time management system and serving as the IT liaison.
* Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors and co-workers and work effectively in a team environment while serving as the liaison to a variety of NDSU departments.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm during the academic year and 7:30 am - 4:00 pm during the summer and recognized breaks. Some flexibility to the weekly start and end time is available upon request.
Advertised Salary: $48,000+/year depending on experience and qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Associates degree in related field with 2+ years direct experience or equivalent or 4+ years related experience with no Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in related field with 1+ year related experience.
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Google Docs and Sheets, with the ability to quickly learn other programs.
* Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills
* Ability to recognize, evaluate and resolve problems and correct errors
* Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information both verbally and in writing while actively listening to others.
* Ability to adapt to change, learn new skills quickly and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Major field of study or degree emphasis in business or accounting
* Experience working with the Finance and HCM PeopleSoft Modules
* Familiarity with NDSU systems, processes and policies
