Job Description:

The Town of Castleton is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Manager/Operations/Assistant to join our team. In this critical role, you will provide support to the Town Manager, Selectboard & various town departments. Responsibilities include managing communications, scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth operation of municipal office functions. Candidate must be proficient with Office 365, Adobe & able to learn to navigate various government portals and maintain content on the town website. This position also serves as the E911 Coordinator, oversees the CDL requirements, and is the primary point of contact for residents and visitors with general questions and inquiries, provides information to private and public entities, and must be able to resolve issues in a courteous and professional manner. A friendly yet professional demeanor is required. Strong problem-solving skills, conflict resolution skills, and excellent communication skills are essential. The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, is a must.

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications. A full benefits package is available.
