We offer our employees the opportunity to advance their careers in our progressive, vibrant organizationThe Office Manager oversees all daily office operations, including data entry, front-office support, inventory management, and coordination with Human Resources. Additionally, the role involves preparing and distributing weekly and monthly reports, as well as handling other administrative tasks as required by the business.Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage office supplies and inventory, placing orders when necessary.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Logistics, collaborating with the Supervisor to review.
- Prepare and communicate reports to appropriate departments in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage daily communications with employees, addressing and resolving issues as they arise.
- Support HR activities such as onboarding new employees and ensuring employee records are up to date.
- Provide monthly headcount and Health and Safety reports to Corporate HR Team.
- Assist with the management and implementation of food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company standards, and supporting staff in maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Handle general office tasks, including data entry and the maintenance of filing and record-keeping systems.
- Maintain a positive and professional office culture and atmosphere.
- Other core expectations as defined by the company.
Requirements and Skills
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required; Post-secondary diploma or degree a business discipline preferred
- Minimum three (3) years' progressive experience in a leadership role and/or office administration required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to train on Food Safety and Legislative Food safety Programs as required
- HACCP Certification considered an asset
- Computer Skills; proficient in Microsoft (MS) Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to handle sensitive issues with tact and maintain strict confidentiality,
- Commitment to high professional and ethical standards
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detail and task-related accuracy, as well as consistent follow-through skills
- Able to work in a team environment with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels
- Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary; persuasive with details and facts; ability to motivate and empower with a forward-thinking nature
- Must be flexible to shift assignments as required to meet both customer & business needs

- This job operates in a clerical, office setting. Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Specific vision capabilities required; employee is to work in front of a computer, sitting for prolonged periods is required
- The position may involve needing to lift to 30-pounds, occasionally up to 50-pounds
