JOB SUMMARY
The Park Office Support I (PT) Secretary is an administrative position responsible for the efficient operation and management of workflow at the Environmental Education Center and Shuts Environmental Library. Service to both internal and external customers is the focus of this position while data entry, filing and light bookkeeping are also part of the daily work.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Processes facility reservations, program registrations, and memberships.
Completes invoices and confirmation letters for private group program reservations.
Answers phones and addresses public inquiries and complaints.
Performs procurement functions including generating purchase orders and vouchers.
Files facility reservations, program registrations, memberships, and other office paperwork.
Assists with operation of the Shuts Environmental Library.
Generates and reconciles daily cash and credit card deposits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a High School or GED diploma. Advanced secretarial schooling or training is preferred.
Must have computer skills that include using email; Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word; and navigating the internet.
Working knowledge of office equipment (facsimile, copier, printer, scanner, multi-line phone).
