- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with school personnel and the public
- Considerable knowledge of and ability to use correct grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and related software
- High level of computer/technology proficiency
- Ability to prioritize and schedule variable work
- Ability to learn, interpret, and explain policies, regulations, and programs

- Ability to exercise good judgment, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- Related associate's degree; or
- High school graduate and five years of related clerical and computer experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months SALARY: Salary Grade 59, Office Support III FSLA Status: Non-ExemptPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule and facilitate employment processing for all new employees. Provide all necessary communication regarding new employee onboarding to employees, supervisors, and other departments. Complete E-Verify process for all new hires. Use Human Resources Management System (HRMS) as needed. Perform the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy yet productive and efficient office. Fingerprint new employees and volunteers. Create employee identification badges. Assist director with preparation of all materials for state, federal, and grant audits. Welcomes visitors, fields general inquiries regarding personnel matters, and directs inquiries to appropriate staff members. Maintain all human resources documentation in employee personnel files. Provide support for the multi-line switchboard when needed. Perform other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The ability to be physically active, which includes, but is not limited to, standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, sitting, walking.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms routinely.
- Ability to operate technology for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to carry furniture such as tables and chairs, supplies and materials.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds routinely and 30 pounds occasionally.
- The ability to maintain composure in difficult situations.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills in English.
