We are seeking a Part Time person to assist with clerical tasks. We are a small medical boutique (DME- Durable Medical Equipment) specializing in Post Mastectomy and Lymphedema patients. Our office is well established. We have been in San Mateo since 1979.
Even though we are small, we are an extremely busy office. Ideal candidate will work 3-4 days a week; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Hours: W-F 11am-4pm and Sat. 11am-3pm
Qualifications:
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Previous experience in sales or other related fields
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; multi lingual is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to reprioritize
- Organized
- Work independently, yet be a team player
- Ability to build a rapport with customers and be discrete
- Strong negotiation skills
- High School Diploma
- Computer Skills/Data Entry
- Some medical experience and or medical terminology is a plus
- Willingness to learn
- Clean background check
- Covid-19 Vaccination preferred

- Verify Insurance benefit coverage
- Relay Insurance benefit coverage clearly to client
- Explain clearly to customers our products, product warranty and services
- Assist Senior Sales Associate and Fitter in monitoring inventory to ensure product(s) is in stock
- Enter sales in computer program (QuickBooks) and collect payments (Clover)
- Batch Sales for the day
- Resolving customer complaints when they arise
- Light cleaning (dust, vacuum, trash)
