Job Duties:
Duties include: Office support work, data entry used for entering billing information, while identifying and correcting errors. Filing, sorting, and opening mail, copying, research and reviewing medical claim forms for missing or incomplete data. Answer and resolve inbound calls regarding the status of submitted claims, client eligibility and verifying provider payments while using a multiple mainframe computer.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience in public contact, customer service, and/or performing and applying office/clerical support procedures, including the use of a personal computer, associated software, and office equipment.
Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of customer service experience, experience with Enterprise One, NFOCUS, MMIS, OnBase, and Microsoft Excel. Internal and external customer service experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of: Data entry techniques and procedures.
Skills: Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel Proofreading skills Accurate data entry.
Abilities: Able to file and retrieve materials using alphabetical and numerical filing systems. Able to perform repetitive work in a high volume, fast paced work environment. Reliable attendance a must.
