Duties include stenographically recording criminal/civil trials and proceedings as well as all other matters heard before the Court. This 35-hour-per-week union position has a salary based on experience with increases after 6 months and 2 years of successful employment up to $75,400 with additional income earned by producing verbatim transcripts. The position includes full benefits of medical insurance and prescriptions, vision/dental, paid vacation, personal time, sick leave, 14 holidays, and participation in the County of Berks' pension program. Newly-graduated court reporting students are also welcome!
