Offset press operator
: Job Details :

As an offset press operator, you will be operating a half web offset 4 to 10 color press. Duties include:

· Sets up and operates presses to produce a wide variety of multicolor forms.

· Changes plates for size and type of stock required for job.

· As part of “Make Ready” cleans and lubricates press, mixes ink, and loads press with specified type, size and color of paper stock.

· Controls registration throughout the length of the run.

· Makes appropriate adjustments to ensure the output of a quality product.

· Identifies production problems and/or errors which will initiate possible changes in procedures to prevent re-occurrence.

· Ensures equipment maintenance is performed and reports any down time that will affect production schedules and delivery commitments.

· Adheres to company safety polices, practices and procedures.
